What will you do a Business Intelligence Analyst?
- As a Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and optimising key performance indicators
- Being part of the team who is responsible for making information and insights available to internal stakeholders in a digestible form
- Implementing, delivering, and maintaining effective business intelligence solutions and dashboards
- Act as the Business Intelligence relationship holder for assigned business areas, developing strong working relationship with the management teams, particularly sales and marketing functions
- Establish and conduct regular business review meetings to analyse and determine BI requirements and develop solutions that add value
- Plan, specify and co-ordinate priorities with third party suppliers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop, deliver, and report on sales force effectiveness utilising all available resources to provide on-going robust insight
- Facilitate targeting of customers/market segmentation, deliver and interpret KPIs
- Manage geographical structures for all assigned sales teams. Review and update systems and analysis as required
- Work with marketing team to develop, monitor and interpret data and ongoing analysis. Contribute to marketing plans
- Provide analysis and interpretation for Senior management on ad hoc and routine scheduled basis
- BI Analyst work closely with marketing colleagues to develop product sales forecasts
- Manage the process for assigned products with regards to timings and planning calendar
- Preparation of required information for Corporate Business Review, forecast and budget meetings
- Develop relationships with other business teams (marketing, sales, finance) to foster collaboration and drive change management through data
- Develop a working, functional knowledge of the internal CRM system
- Maintain and develop own skills, knowledge and capability to an appropriate level to fulfil the role
- Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably required to support the Business Intelligence department and the wider business
What Skills & Experience are required for the role of Business Intelligence Analyst?
- Educated to degree level, ideally within an IT/Mathematical field
- Advanced IT skills required, particularly Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
- Experience in a MI role
- Proven experience working with Power BI (or equivalent data visualisation tool)
- Proven experience delivering presentations, visualisations/dashboards and analytics to a broad audience (technical, non-technical, exec etc.)
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills (engaging at all levels)
- Demonstrable passion for Data Analytics and Visualisation
- Experience of working with CRM system(s) would be advantageous
- Analytical and logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and dynamic with the ability to consistently work towards tight deadlines and prioritise effectively in accordance with business needs
- Effective communicator both verbally and written with excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer focus and commercial acumen
- Knowledge of the NHS structure and workings would be an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice would be beneficial
- Experience of working within a regulated, compliance driven organisation

- The hours of work are 8.30am-5pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am - 4pm Friday 40% work from home available
- Salary up to GBP30000 Plus 10% bonus
