Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an **Order Entry/Administrator** to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client PO’s to ensure compliance. Provide support to the Lab ans and when required BASED IN LANCASTER
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive incoming shipments & assist with customer pickup and return of samples
- Verify that orders received include all necessary paperwork to allow for proper testing of samples
- Contact customers over PO discrepancies or to obtain additional test detail
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, assisting them with order status updates
- Distribute entered sample/material to required processing departments
- Insure that requirements for Subcontracting of work are met and generate required documentation, upon request
- Alert staff to expedite/ rush work and follow-up on issues
- Promptly address revised PO’s for work in progress by entering the new PO’s into the system and communicating changes to appropriate department supervisor
- Interact with internal departments on questions or issues related to particular projects
- Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures and regulatory agency regulations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management
- Provide support to the laboratory as and when required
- Provide support to the admin team as and when required
Skills / Qualifications:
- To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

- Experience working within a materials testing laboratory is preferred
