As a Group Facilitator with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Prison Group facilitator volunteer you will be working in close collaboration with Recovery Coordinators within HMP Liverpool. We believe groups are a great way to engage and connect with those who use our services. We therefore offer a wide range of structured and peer lead group work programmes on offer at HMP Liverpool

**Responsibilities**:
**Volunteering at Change Grow Live**

As a Group Facilitator Support Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the facilitator in the planning and preparation of groups, gaining skills to facilitate groups in the future. This will include promoting groups to service users, reminding them of up-and -coming group sessions and engaging those who did not attend. You will be provided with trainingand supported to eventually be able to lead in facilitating some of the groups and provide one to one support to service users within the group setting. You will also be given the

opportunity to play a key role in the review and development of session materials including contents, handouts, and delivery.

Working in a prison environment can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. We willprovide you with all the training and support needed to undertake this role.
- Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.
