You will be joining a team of software specialists liaising with Customers, Global Support, internal users and internal Product Development teams. The team is responsible for support, remote delivery, onsite delivery and consulting for our OTS Host, OTS ATM,Capacity Testing, Web-based Testing and hosted software services in the EMEA and APAC regions. Our software encompasses everything to do with testing of financial messages and devices but we are not testers, we provide the tools for our customers to test forthemselves.
**What you will be doing**:

- Working closely with our internal Project Managers, becoming the technical lead on the project being delivered
- Providing consultation and training to internal and external users with regard to software capabilities and use
- Providing second level technical support for our OTS product line
- Assisting development teams in requirements definition, system design and delivery of projects
- Assisting sales in the provision of offers by contributing to proposals and estimates
- Assisting client support with development of internal and client directed communications related to incidents, problems or known errors

**What you bring**:

- Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Support or Customer Delivery
- Great interpersonal skills, having confidence when working with customers on their own territory and dealing with issues in challenging remote scenarios
- Experience investigating software problems in Windows. This could have been gained be from a previous Support or Testing role
- Competence in setting up, configuring and troubleshooting software on Servers and Virtual Machines using VMWare and/or Hyper-V in a Windows environment
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to audience including executive levels
- Ability to provide training to small customer groups
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage your own workload in a predominantly remote and independent role
- Willingness to visit customers (and other FIS locations) onsite, for periods between 1 day and 3 weeks, at locations within our territory (EMEA & APAC)
- Willingness to occasionally work flexibly depending on the needs of our customers (this may involve out-of-hours support or travelling over a weekend)

**Useful Additional Skills: (at least one or more)**:

- Knowledge of financial message standards or payment schemes (e.g. ISO 8583, ISO 200022, Visa, MasterCard, LIS5)
- Knowledge of encryption standards used within financial messages
- Knowledge of EMV in relation to ATM or POS devices
- Experience of software testing, automated test tools and scripting
- Experience of software development in C#, SQL or other recent languages
- Experience working in a structured project methodology (e.g. PRINCE2) or Agile
- Experience working in a hosted environment (Azure, DevOps etc)
