The University of Central Lancashire is dedicated to public engagement and has a strong history of delivering innovative and exciting public engagement events, projects and programmes.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating public engagement activity across the University. You will liaise with staff and students who are delivering public engagement to provide practical and administrative support. You will work with colleagues in university faculties, school, institutes and centres to help them plan, record and evaluate their public engagement activity. You will be responsible for coordinating the public engagement steering group, as well as public engagement forums for staff, students and community groups. You will support the planning of the Lancashire Science Festival by helping to plan content and support University staff and students to get involved.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
