Our core offering is an evidence-led social value measurement framework, called the Social Value TOM System (Themes, Outcomes and Measures). We not only provide a platform, but our proposition spans a consultancy division, as well as a new social value learning academy.

**The Role**

Social Value Portal (SVP) works with private and public sector organisations across the UK and beyond to support them to measure, manage and report their social value. Social value is about delivering economic, social and environmental sustainability for communities and society as a whole and one of the sectors we have a big focus on is real estate. There are many ways that organisations in the real estate sector can generate social value and one of them is through the investment in and management of assets, for example offices, shopping centres or industrial parks.

Investors are demanding that more focus is placed on purpose, not just profit. Measuring the social value generated by an asset is a way of putting a targeted and needs-based action plan in place to deliver better outcomes, and more value, in the future. To do this we deliver Real Estate Social Value Index (RESVI) assessments and work with investors, owners, managing agents, property teams, suppliers and occupiers. Clients include Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, BNP Paribas Real Estate and JP Morgan Asset Management.

The demand for RESVI is increasing dramatically with interest not only from the UK but also worldwide. You will be responsible for building and managing this consultancy division as it grows (there are two other divisions for planning advisory and corporate services) as well as looking at how our solution should be adapted to the changing market place.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in the real estate industry and a deep understanding of asset or property management
- Understanding of GRESB, BREEAM, SFDR, UN PRI, UK Sustainable Disclosure Requirements, SASB and/or other sustainability reporting requirements within the real estate investment sector
- Experience in managing complex projects and proactively delivering activities for multiple clients to deadline
- Examples of having engaged directly with investors, asset managers and/or property managers
- Examples of having developed strong relationships with clients and their partners and supply chains
- Confidence to create and deliver presentations and workshops
- Experience of report writing, including analysis, narrative and design input
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Experience of people management

**Desirable Skills / Experience**
- Knowledge of the TOMs framework and/or other social value measurement frameworks
- Understanding of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
- Experience of creating real estate asset-level sustainability improvement plans and/or reports
