Based in a modern, BRC accredited facility, the business works with some of the biggest and most progressive names in the grocery, retail, and wholesale sector.

**About the Senior Technical Administrator job**

The purpose of your role will be to support site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.

**Key tasks**
- Supervision of the Technical Administrator including delegating tasks, ensuring accuracy of work, providing training, and conducting appraisals.
- Generate and approve specifications for new products or processes (both internal and customer).
- Assist with the supplier approval process in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
- Oversee and conduct internal audits, raising any non-conformances.
- Oversee the complaints system including reporting, investigation, and trending.
- Generate pack copies from specifications and nutritional results and artwork sign-off.
- Support the HACCP plan.
- Provide technical guidance and advise the wider business on legal and customer requirements, particularly with respect to labelling, specifications, and nutritional targets.

**About You**
- Experience working in a technical role in food or beverage manufacturing.
- HACCP Level 2 (ideally Level 3).
- Internal audit training.
- Experience with specification writing and artwork process.
- High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects/workstreams and delegate effectively.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
