**Accounts & Payroll Administrator**

An Accounts & Payroll Administrator is required to manage the company’s accounts, payroll and banking requirements. The position is based at the company's offices in Wolverhampton, working full-time (40 hours per week). The position will be reporting to the Directors of the company and to other members of staff as directed.

**Duties (including but not limited to)**
- Sales and purchase invoicing.
- Producing statements and chasing for aged debts.
- Weekly payroll and PAYE administration for approximately 20 people.
- Managing NEST pensions and auto-enrolment.
- Banking, including monthly supplier, and weekly payroll, BACS runs.
- Reconciling bank receipts and payments with Sage 50 Accounts.
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Completing year-end processes for Accounts and Payroll.
- Processing and filing relevant paperwork, including statements, invoices etc.
- Answering and directing of telephone calls.

**Requirements**:

- AAT/NVQ accounting qualification.
- Working experience of using Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
- To be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- To have experience of working in a busy and sometimes demanding office environment.
- To have a polite and confident telephone manner.
- To be able to learn and understand the general principles of the company's products and the procedures used in the business.
- To be reliable and dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- To have good numeracy and literacy skills, and good attention to detail.
- To be self-motivated with a positive work ethic, and to be capable of working unsupervised.
- To have good organisational and time management skills.

**Package**
- Holidays: 25 days holiday (by agreement) plus statutory public holidays.
- Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 pa depending on experience and ability.
- A three-month probationary period will apply.
