**The Role**

You will drive the growth of digital client work, developing and executing marketing strategies, and leading and supporting new business pitches. You will have an excellent knowledge of digital technologies with the ability to understand the implicationsof technology choices.

Working to an effective project delivery methodology will be a key success driver in this role. You will manage all digital operations including their standards, platforms, processes, tools, analytics, SLAs and external suppliers. You will control the digitaloffering, working with the Design team and supporting in-house experts across Brand, Sustainability, and Investor Relations, driving innovative solutions to client challenges.

This is a challenging role as there are several internal/external stakeholders, so proactive communication, ongoing maintenance of project documentation and active management of in-house/remote-based teams is essential to deliver projects within scope, budgetand schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operations**
- Responsible for quality standards across all aspects of digital delivery
- Ensuring regular and effective reporting and reviews of Digital business
- Devise commercial new business plans that drive maximum profitability for their digital offering
- Develop long-term client relationships built around ongoing analytics support, and a proactive approach to hosting and SLAs
- Introduce the wider agency to the latest digital thinking and best working practices
- Collaborate with design, production, account management and editorial to drive quality communications

**Marketing and Business Development**
- Responsibility for marketing the digital capabilities of the agency through thought leadership across communications channels.
- Responsible for marketing the Luminous digital offer and collaborating with agency strategy teams to align the offer across disciplines
- Work closely with Marketing and New Business team to develop and deliver long-term marketing plan to drive interest in the digital offer
- Work closely with New Business, Strategy and Client Services teams to identify ideal digital prospects and cross-selling opportunities
- Write digital proposals/pitch decks and present solutions to clients and prospects, helping to convert larger-scale digital projects
- Stay current with emerging technologies and changing best practices, identifying how these can help to solve client challenges and proactively contributing to thought leadership

**Client management**
- Act as strategy lead on larger digital client projects, including:

- Project briefing and scoping, ensuring client requirements are documented and understood by all project stakeholders
- Understand and utilise analysis of clients' digital communications and analytics
- Present strategic recommendations on UX, design and technical solutions

**Team leadership**
- Build and manage the digital team who are responsible for all digital operations
- Take ownership of the team performance management reviews
- Manage recruitment of new digital team members according to the needs of the business
- Promoting team to clients and encourage collaboration across departments internally

**Who we are looking for**:

- You will be a seasoned digital professional with at least 5 years' experience gained in B2B corporate communications agencies
- You will have a good knowledge of corporate communications (investor relations, sustainability, and brand communications)
- You have a proven track record of introducing new business across digital communication channels
- You are an accomplished leader with managing teams of digital specialists
- You have good knowledge of technologies such as WordPress, Umbraco, Drupal, CRM, Google Analytics suite
- You have experience of working with a portfolio of specialist digital partners
- You have a good understanding of project management methodologies for supporting the digital delivery team
- You are knowledgeable on broader digital disciplines, e.g. digital marketing, UX and SEO
