An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the leadership team within Community and Children's Services at Homerton Healthcare. The role will be based at Orsman Road but the post holder will also be expected to visit community sites where these services provide care.

The Head of Community Outpatient and Digital Transformation will lead on outpatient and digital improvement across the community services at Homerton Hospital. Working closely with the divisional management team, clinical teams and other senior leaders across Homerton Healthcare to develop and implement a range of transformation programmes of work in line with key national and trust level priorities.

This includes playing a key role in identifying opportunities for clinical innovation and modernisation and developing new ways of working.

The Head of Community Outpatient and Digital Transformation will be responsible for scoping projects, supporting the development of documentation, and delivering on workstream objectives, with input from key stakeholders.

The post holder has a key role in transforming outpatient and digital services to meet the objectives of the organisation, best practice standards, and improving efficiency and effectiveness within available resources.

Determine the strategic planning of outpatient and digital transformation projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

Determine the development of performance and governance strategies and the development and implementation of improvement programmes

Support the commissioning of projects and procurement of services to support project delivery.

Monitor the use of resources within the project and highlight areas of concern to the relevant Programme Steering groups.

Provide financial and performance monitoring reports to the relevant Oversight groups Boards as required.
