**About the role and our team**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join PIN (Passports, Immigration and Nationality) as an Executive Officer

Within this role, you will work as part of a small, dedicated team delivering effective and efficient services across PIN but with an emphasis on Immigration Policy, Legislation and Governance.

The ability to organise yourself in a fast paced, multi-service environment where there is need to respond quickly to changing demands is essential. You will have strong and demonstrable research, interpersonal, negotiation and consultative skills and be able to engage with a range of colleagues, customers and stakeholders on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the development and maintenance of policies and legislation across PIN
- Drafting memoranda, briefing papers and guidance documents
- Undertaking research and analysis to provide advice to other officers

As and when required, you will work as part of a scheduled/flexible rota undertaking border control duties at the Islands’ ports. An allowance is paid along with overtime and a uniform will be provided.
