**The Opportunity**

You will be following the government approved **Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship**.** You can expect on the job training at your allocated NRS site and the kind of practical experience you cant get in a college based environment. You might work as part of our Construction Office team, at the heart of the site, overseeing all site projects. Or you might be out on site, in the thick of it, supporting specific construction and decommissioning projects, whilst working towards a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision (Construction) a BTEC HNC Diploma in Construction and the Build Environment plus your level 4 apprenticeship.

**What will it look like?**

Your apprenticeship will be for three years based on site at your allocated NRS location with day release to **Weston College.** You will be working with site based staff as well as specialist contractors, ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are considered, that projects are operating on time and budget as well as reporting progress to the site leadership team.

You will be supported by the college and your line manager to complete a portfolio of evidence to satisfy the apprenticeship criteria.

**We need someone who**:

- Has five GCSEs at grade 9 to 4 (C or higher) including Mathematics, English and Science
- Is aged 18 or over on the 01.09.2024
- Is self motivated but also a team player.
- Can manage their time well and balance work and study effectively.
- Has a commitment to safety.

**Additional requirements**

ALL NRS employees must be security cleared prior to employment.

In some cases, your course provider may not be close to your site and in these cases travel and residential costs will be funded by NRS when you are at college.

You will need to live within commuting distance to the site where the role is based. Although you will be predominantly based at your allocated site, you can expect on the job training that could take you to any of our 12 sites across the UK providing you with the practical experience you need to complete your apprenticeship.
