As Social Media Coordinator, you will take ownership of the scheduling, copywriting and proof reading of content across the Iceland and Food Warehouse social channels. This is a great opportunity for someone to help build our online presence, boost our customer engagement & increase the company’s brand awareness across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and our Affoodable blog.

Key Accountabilities:

- Deliver the social media strategy/calendar with the Senior Social Media Coordinator
- Collaborate with our Marketing Planning and Comms teams to deliver accurate and well-timed campaign assets.
- Schedule content in line with the daily content calendar, testing posting times where possible.
- Copywriting, proof reading and fact checking assets with relevant departments.
- Manage the weekly statistics report for all channels, outlining impressions, engagement, followers, and top performing content.
- Assist with seasonal wash ups and post-campaign analysis.
- Work closely with the PR team and in-house creative studios to align key product messaging & campaign launches.
- Aid the Digital Marketing team with blog content, relating to article, recipe or photography support.
- Maintain a laser focus on our customer, relevant trends and current affairs that could impact their shopping habits.
- Seek out new opportunities to be responsive or reactive across all our social platforms.
- Keep up to date with the latest social platform algorithm updates.
- Assist with our influencer and affiliate plans; managing relationships and arranging PR packages.
- Contribute towards ad hoc marketing activity or events.

Skills Required:

- Marketing experience
- A passion for Marketing, specifically social media
- Excellent grammar and literacy skills
- Confident to jump right in and work cross-functionally
- A high attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask & work across different projects daily
- Be planned and organised but always ready to adapt quickly to change
