Family Time Coordinator

**Job Description**:
The Co-ordinator post requires a NVQ3 or 4 in Social Care / Education related discipline and / or relevant professional qualifications.
The role requires experience of working with children and families, an awareness of relevant legal frameworks relating to Family Time between children and their families and children’s safeguarding procedures.
The Family Time Co-ordinator is responsible for the supervision of staff, managing workloads, guiding and mentoring staff, working in a multi-agency manner
The role will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the work of the Family Time Team and ensure that services are managed effectively and flexibly to meet the needs of children and families to promote the supervision of family time.
The successful applicant would be responsible for supervising and providing management oversight of Family Time Workers, supporting recruitment, effectively managing the administration of the service and monitoring performance to ensure quality support and services are provided to children and families.
The role would require effective co-management of the team alongside another part time Family Time Co-ordinator and working in partnership with Social Care teams.
