Telemetry (Internet of Things) allows for remote access to the operational and sales activity of a machine. The role will be to monitor telemetry platforms for both the company and third-party systems, assessing data and reacting to the data.

Communication is required between colleagues and customers on a regular basis. You will be required to support team members to develop their understanding of telemetry. You will also be in constant dialogue with customers to talk through data and keep thesystem updated. The ability to delegate tasks and develop team members is key to the role. Testing and training of payment systems will also be incorporated in the role.

Daily tasks will include:

- Work with colleagues to ensure full understanding of future development
- Set up of menu
- By using internal Shared Drive ensure all files are stored, clearly identified and available for all field-based engineers and workshop engineers
- Have clearly defined process for all solutions: Vendon and IOT
- Working to support senior field-based engineers and office-based colleagues.
- Communicate changes to sales team as required
- Always ensure customer focus and a right first-time approach
- Clearly defined processes for all aspects of role
- Set up all customer contacts to enable customers to access telemetry
- Train customers in how to use the system once set up
- Keep system contacts updated
- Review daily data and with the use of the data contact customers to highlight issues and work with service desk and engineers to highlight issues
- Create future training platforms for team members so all understand how to use the system and understand the detail shown.
- Back of house process to be communicated to field-based teams so all are aware of detail required eg. a modem change and information they must send.
- Always ensure customer focus, clear communication and be professional
