Agricultural Liaison Officer Assistant

We are recruiting for an **Agricultural Liaison Officer Assistant (ALO)** to work on our Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Framework.
**About the project**
Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. “SPA” is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region.
The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project.
**About the role**
The ALO Assistant will play a key role in the successful delivery of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance, being part of the Engagement team reporting to the Stakeholder Manager and the relevant scheme Project Installation and Assembly Manager (PIAM).
The role will cover the South of Peterborough (Bexwell to Bury St Edmunds).
**Key Responsibilities**
Support the ALO in forming trusting relationships and being the prime contact with third party stakeholders such as landowners, farmers, tenant farmers, IDBs
Support the ALO with informing the landowners of project requirements and construction matters together with collating the landowner feedback to inform the Project team.
Support the ALO in their activities and deputise where needed - meeting landowners and land agents to discuss the programme
Attend project and team meetings and feedback necessary information to the ALO and engagement team
Organise meetings with landowners and prepare the necessary documents to support the ALO
**About you**
An engaging and enthusiastic individual that can form relationships at ease and is an excellent communicator who can build and sustain relationships with the project teams and external stakeholders (inc farmers and local residents)
Has experience in agriculture and/or construction
Can work collaboratively with the ALO and project team to help deliver the best solutions
Has a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done
Has the capability to use project systems to record stakeholder interactions and project progress
Is a proactive problem solver keeping the business objective at the heart of every decision
Support the ALO in their activities and deputise where needed - meeting landowners and land agents to discuss the programme
