The Senior Compensation Manager is responsible for providing strategic compensation and benefit consulting services to internal clients. The position will collaborate with business line and HR leaders to design, develop and implement effective and competitivecompensation and benefit strategies, plans and programs that support business line objectives.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Provides consulting services to internal clients (e.g., Business Line managers, Talent Consultants)
- Proactively identify and interpret compensation trends, understand the businesses you support and offer guidance and advice that produces actionable insights.
- Provide input into the design of reward programs - including annual or sales incentive plans, pensions and benefits - across the region that are consistent with our pay for performance philosophy and business strategy whilst remaining market competitive.
- Help lead and manage the regional annual compensation performance year-end process including providing support to the business, reporting and engagement with senior management and preparation of Board reporting.
- Responsible for managing the annual MRT identification process.
- Advise on and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements that are compensation and benefit related.
- Oversees the analysis of executive and/or non-executive salary/incentive structures, evaluates findings, and recommends changes.
- Collaborate and build relationships with industry experts and consultants to advance our understanding of current industry trends and demand.
- Maintain an effective knowledge of remuneration regulations in order to guide compensation and benefit recommendations.
- Responsible for the preparation of remuneration regulatory reports and publications such as Pillar 3 remuneration disclosure and Gender Pay Gap.
- Assesses and advises on how to design and administer compensation and benefit programs to achieve business goals and effectively manage the workforce. Provides guidance on how to use compensation tools and practices to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Degree or equivalent work experience in the compensation and/or benefit field.
- Relevant Financial Services experience of at least 6 years.

**Skills/Experience**:

- Excellent consultative skills.
- Experience in designing compensation programs that attract and retain employees and drive performance.
- Aptitude and drive to access, analyze, and present data in an accurate, timely, and actionable manner.
- Inquisitiveness to pursue facts and rationale behind practices and inform future action.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to work closely with the highest management of the company.
