**Role: Maintenance Engineer**

**Shift: Days - Mon to Fri (Flexible with start and finish times)**

**Salary: £32,000 - £38,000**

A rapidly growing manufacturing plant in Cornwall are dedicated to grow their Engineering team. As an engineer you will be joining a company within the engineering department working within the manufacturing and packaging lines within the factory. The business are looking to improve efficiency and output and this is a great opportunityto get involved in continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to work with other experienced engineers that are supportive and friendly.

**Job Specification**:
The maintenance engineer will cover across 3 production lines

1st Production Line: Fudge
Cookers, mixers, coveyers, auto bagging machines, flow wrappers, gluing machines, robotics
2nd Production Line: Free From Range
Melting tanks, one shot dosing machines, moulding machines, chilling melts, mixers, conveyors, auto bagging machines, flow wrappers, metal detectors, weight checkers
3rd Production Line; Snack Bars
Electrical oil cookers, mixers, chilled rollers, slitters, guillotine machines, chocolate covers, flow wrappers, metal detectors
- Ensuring day-to-day production plans are met by maintaining and supporting the installed assets
- Being responsible and accountable for completing planned preventative maintenance schedules in a safe and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy. Including machine set up.
- Being involved with appropriate training to improve skills and help to ensure all plant needs are met.
- Looking for and implementing cost effective solutions to continuous improvement and using lean techniques

**Skills acquired to be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer**:

- The Maintenance Engineer must be Multi-Skilled (Electrical OR Mechanical Bias)
- The Maintenance Engineer will need to have an Engineering Qualification.
- The Maintenance Engineer will ideally need to be from a Manufacturing background.
