If you're a dedicated Support Worker who loves the outdoors and wishes to make a difference, this is the perfect role for you.

We are committed to the belief that young people benefit from their placement if they are offered a wide variety of experiences and opportunities from which to learn and develop. This Provision offers Placements for young People that runs an activity programme which runs for 12+ weeks. The programme encourages activities with the aim of offering once in a lifetime opportunities with the intention of breaking negative cycles of behaviour and enabling intensive work to be completed.

From cave walks, to waterfalls, surfing, to sailing to Belfast and other locations. You name it, they do it

You will be living and working with the young people, whether that be on board our canal boat, Yacht, camping, camping barns, yurts or temporary cottages. No two days are the same...

Key responsibilities will include providing individualised day to day support with the young people, promoting personal care, working in line with their care plans, and ensuring the care, safety and welfare of the young people at all times. Alongside the day to day duties, you will also be supporting our young People with building social skills, independent living and self-regulation / Management of behaviours.

The ideal person for this role will have a positive attitude towards working with young people, have a flexible approach to their work as they could be working away from home for short periods, and have an understanding of the needs of young people, together with the ability to deal with challenging situations with compassion and an understanding of the behaviours being displayed. It is essential that you are able to work well as part of a team and on an individual basis.

In return, you are offered a salary of up to £27,912.00 per annum inclusive of sleep-ins and the opportunity to gain your Skippers license (adding an extra £1000 to your salary)

The applicant must hold a valid driving licence and be prepared to drive as part of their duties.
