A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, flexible individual to assist on contract and commissioning within the Housing Property and Strategic Projects Division.

You will have a positive attitude, energy, adaptability and be highly organised to work as part of a team assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of a new minor works framework in line with our strategic vision for housing and non-housing properties.

This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to make a positive difference to the way we engage with external contractors who support us to maintain and improve the quality of our housing stock on behalf our tenants as well as our schools and other public buildings.

Following implementation of the new Minor Works Framework you will focus on assisting non-housing property-related procurement and contract management requirements to facilitate significant investment in our schools and other public buildings.

You will be responsible for:

- Assisting the development and implementation of a new Minor Works Framework to deliver housing and non-housing responsive and planned maintenance and improvement works.
- Supporting strategic engagement of the market together with assisting the development of lotting structures and lotting specifications that will support the delivery of a new framework that matches our ambitions to reach a wider range of contractors.
- Supporting the development and implementation of contract management arrangements for the Framework and assist other non-housing property-related procurement arrangements to promote continuous improvement and value for money in line with contract requirements.

You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
