We’re looking for experienced care workers to join a friendly, established team based in Kirkby in Ashfield.

You will be assisting the existing team is providing the very best of care to the elderly service users, we a key focus being to enhance their quality of life through your care

We are looking for someone who is patient, engaging and easy to talk to

As part of your role you will:

- Assist with Mobility (inc. Hoists, slings etc)
- Follow personalised care plans
- Maintain the service users hygiene by completing personal care
- Complete domestic duties as required
- Assist wthe service user at meal times and with fluids throughout the day.
- A friendly and positive presence to all those under your care

- Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
- Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
