Are you a Learning and Development professional who wants to make a significant difference to the lives of National Grid’s Graduates?

We are looking for an Early Careers Specialist to join our People team to lead on the learning design and delivery across all our early career’s programmes.

Working as a Early Careers Specialist within the Early Careers Team, you’ll can showcase your ability to design comprehensive and engaging learning programmes for our graduates and students on their industrial placement with us. You’ll work collaboratively with the Early Careers team and wider People Teams and business coordinators to ensure learners have the highest quality of learning in place.

In this role you’ll also work closely with the graduates, leading on the design and delivery of our Inductions and Welcome Days and at times facilitating Graduate sessions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and driven learning and development professional, who is really determined and passionate about making a significant difference to the lives of our Graduates and Students.

This role is a full-time, fixed term contract position for 15 months. We offer hybrid working which offers a mixture of home and office working. Travel to our Eakring training centre and other locations will be needed as and when required.

**About you**:

- Demonstrable professional learning and development experience or qualifications, this role is designed to have the specialism to provide a learning expertise within the team.
- Be self-motivated and resilient, with excellent organisational skills with proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured environment.
- An engaging presenter and facilitator
- Ability to work as part of a team and to take a flexible, professional approach.
- Preferably will have experience of working with students or young people.

**What we can offer you**:
A competitive salary between £50,000- £55,000 - dependent on capability
