We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Funds Product Specialist, a core offering in our Prism Advisory service within our Investment & Wealth Solutions Group.

Role Purpose
- A smaller element of this role would be to take on a supportive function to our Product Specialists covering Structured Products. Creating both involvement with another successful part of our advisory business and provide an opportunity to grow understanding of derivative based structures.
- Confident presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a timely and investment relevant manner, both oral and written, are also an advantage as this role would write marketing materials, and general client collateral, as well as internal fund update presentations. Being able to articulate the house view on Funds and provide commentary where relevant is essential.
- Perform responsibilities with integrity and high standards of ethics, complying fully with the Compliance Policy as well as with both the spirit and letter of the law, rules and practices that govern the HSBC Group globally.

Requirements

Key Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 4-7 years of experience of the asset management / wealth investment business
- An in-depth and demonstrable working knowledge of the Funds asset class.
- A good understanding of financial investment products, valuation methodologies and basic derivative structures
- A demonstrable track record of driving results while maintaining high standards
- A strong ability to work in a team environment, adapt to an entrepreneurial group and to think and act independently.
- Excellent oral and written English is a pre-requisite with other languages an additional benefit
- Well organised and ability to prioritise a multitude of tasks
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance, Economic, Accounting or related fields a benefit
- FCA Level 4 or higher. MBA / CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA designation a plus
