**About the Role**

The Social Media Specialist will work closely with our agency network and the Head of MarComms Channels to deliver campaigns and content across our social channels. They will take the lead on delivering but not defining our social media strategy that has been developed in partnership with the business.

The role will require you to generate, edit, publish, and share content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action. You will form a key part of the global social media community, leading where appropriate and helping to realise a hub and spoke model.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the implementation of social media strategy in partnership with the global social media community.
- Set up and optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
- Create social media content calendars syndication schedules that align with the broader integrated content plan
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments to manage online reputation across all of our social channels.
- Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Work with our social media innovation agencies to deliver a robust content programme across all channels.
- Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Ability to monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company’s online tools is following established guidelines and best-practice rules.

**Experience Required**
- Proven experience of delivering Social Media campaigns
- Excellent stakeholder management, listening and influencing skills.
- Experience of using the entire social media platform mix to deliver impactful campaign and results.
- Exceptional team player, this role requires a highly collaborative approach.
- Inquisitive by nature, looking outside the organisation for inspiration.
- Connected to the social media community a keen follower of trends and industry developments.
- Demonstrable experience in managing creative and social media agencies.
