**Job summary**:

- Learning needs within the Agency are very broad in scope. Internally delivered programmes include our award winning Initial Operational Development Programme (ODP), a full range of niche and specialist operational and systems training directly related to fighting serious and organised crime, as well as more generic programmes covering interpersonal skills, leadership, management and inclusion, diversity and equality. We also manage the Agency’s Apprenticeship offering.**Job description**:

- This is a dynamic role; working as part of the driver training unit you will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of driver training courses to new and existing officers, to enable them to continue to lead the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime.**Person specification**:

- Your Responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop and deliver learning programmes using a variety of training methods.
- Maintain records in a timely manner, in line with NCA and Learning and Development policies
- Alongside the Driver Training Manager, take responsibility for understanding, challenging and managing Driver Training for the Agency, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and allocation of resources.
- Actively engage with business areas regarding their learning requirements and identify learning solutions to their problems.
- Provide specialist advice and knowledge to colleagues and partners to support achievement of organisational objectives/HR People Strategy.
- Role model continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to monthly reporting, collection and preparation data for financial and management information.
- Find cost-effective solutions to organisational questions and challenges.
- Promote inclusion, diversity, equality and wellbeing.
- Be conscious of spend and ensure best value for the public purse.
- Work collaboratively within and outside Learning, Development and Talent (LD&T).

**Qualifications**:

- The following qualifications/skills are essential to the role and proof will be required at interview:
- Currently qualified to police Advanced Driving standard.
- Currently a College of Policing qualified Police Driving Instructor.
- QCF Level 3 or above in Learning & Development or the Police Sector Standards equivalent.
