**Job Purpose**
- Our Training Co-ordinator will work as part of a highly motivated team and is essential to ensure that our staff have the training, they need to fulfil the responsibilities of their role safely and confidently.
- Training and development is at the heart of our vision and we are committed to ensuring that our staff have the support they need to be successful in their role and to create opportunities to develop through identified career pathways as leaders and managersof the future.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Determining and assessing our training and employee development needs
- Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmes
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes
- Design, prepare and update training aids and materials in accordance with required standards and emerging best practice
- Support in ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of training related records
- Support in developing the skills and knowledge of our team of in-house trainers and monitor and evaluate their performance
- Identify plans for achieving compliance and oversee implementation of agreed action plans
- To be the first point of contact for all training needs enquiries and monitor agreed KPI’s and ensure report any concerns regarding achieving compliance to the Head of Operations
- To support the Head of Operations in matters relating to safeguarding within the services and support Managers to carry out internal investigations and Scrutiny reports, where deemed necessary
- Assist the Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead in the assessment of training and Development activities against CQC KLOES and other good practice standards
- To complete Risk Assessments as necessary, in line with current legislation. These may include field-based assessments, worker and client assessments.
- Manage our team of trainers to assist them in their role and facilitate positive learning opportunities for our staff
- Lead on trainer competency evaluations and reflective practice workshops
- Load and update training materials and resources to our training platforms including Bridge and LMS systems
- Any other duties reasonably required to undertake as part of a Training Co-Ordinator role

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Proven track record for planning, developing, delivering, and monitoring Health and Social Care related training content
- Health and Social Care qualification
- PTTLS/ Adult teaching/ equivalent training qualifications (or willingness to complete)
- Working knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and relevant regulatory bodies which are relevant to the Training and Development responsibilities within the organisation

- Excellent organisational and project planning skills
- Able to identify potential barriers to learning and plan strategies to overcome such barriers
- Flexibility to develop this developing role to meet the on-gong needs of the service
- Understanding of budgets and resource implications and how best to manage resources for improved learning outcomes
- Ability to prioritise work and to manage a number of workstreams at the same time
- Proactive and takes accountability for own actions and for meeting targets and deadlines
- Excellent report writing and IT skills including use of Word, Excel and Power point presentations and computerised data bases for example
- Creative, engaging and entertaining training delivery for maximum learning

- A people person who is able to build and maintain great professional relationships and partnerships with others.
- Empathetic - able to put self in the shoes of others and understand the challenges faced by operational staff.
- A teacher, trainer and mentor - someone who will share and teach others their knowledge to build on existing training resources, systems and process and ensure continued compliance.

You will be based at our office and training rooms in Enfield.
