About The Role***

**Introduction and overall purpose of the role**
- To Assist with all Administration duties within Catering under the instruction & guidance of the Head Chef /Assistant Facilities Manager.
- To complete all areas of Cashing up procedures within Catering including Till Operation and Epsys input.
- To answer all telephone enquiries leaving clear written messages to whom they concern.
- To cover Holiday/sickness/Absence of other members of Restaurant team with regard to till operations.
- To be able to be fully competent with Day-to-Day use of in-house Computer literature & be able to develop the admin role to a smooth-running level of function.
- To be fully competent with use of Microsoft word/excel sheets and have the potential to develop these areas further.
- Order & place stationary requirements within the department in adherence to stock holding levels & cost control.
- To ensure that the Catering Office is always kept clean & Tidy.
- To competently and correctly input all Hospitality bookings onto Marketplace for re-charging.
- Produce quality & Professional display Signage/posters for Restaurant Promotions and shelf/counter displays.
- To be fully competent with all Bookwork aspects of Marketplace as well as online order placing and all Trading reports that need to be produced.
- To have a full understanding of how the Credit Card system works and successfully provide End of Day readings and balances and enter on Epsys. As well as file all necessary reports and notify any variances/faults to your Line Manager.
- To effectively file and Maintain all Invoices/Card receipts in accordance to Company requirements on a Daily Basis.
- To manage all tabletop sales effectively and diarising all activity.
- Make sure all staff complete & Sign any Training forms as directed by Chef Manager.
- To Assist with any Administration Duties required by Facilities Manager
- To input Stock and manage/file reports for End of Month.
- To take Minutes of all Head Chef Manager/Facilities Manager meetings and type up any notes and effectively file as required.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role**
- Always maintain good clean appearance, in line with Company Uniform code and personal Hygiene standards.
- To always comply with client, company, and legal requirements such as health and safety, ensuring the display of notices, first aid and accident reporting/Near Misses forms.
- To notify Head Manager of any variances with end of day procedure.
- Effective Ordering and management of all Catering Office equipment/ Files under the direction of the Head Manager.
- To ensure that specified and correct standards of services are established and maintained, and that any deficiency is reported and remedied quickly.
- To be flexible in line with the business needs within catering facility **Educational Level**

Good Educational level required with knowledge of IT systems
**Experience -previous experience -desirable/essential for technical competence of the role**
