Do you have excellent clinical skills, with supervisor and leadership experience in a Talking Therapy service? West NHS Talking Therapies is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior High Intensity therapist to lead or High Intensity CBT team. You will be joining our existing management team to help manage our growing teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for appropriately qualified and experienced Talking Therapy CBT therapists to take on additional supervisory, managerial and service development related responsibilities and extend their knowledge and skills. The role requires flexibility to lead across a range of roles and responsibilities within the management team.

Applicants should be motivated, innovative, enthusiastic and committed to developing staff and to staff wellbeing. Applicants must have substantial experience of working as high intensity CBT therapists in a Talking Therapy service, managing complex client presentations and providing formal clinical supervision to Talking Therapy qualified staff and trainees. Experience of working with patients with long-term health conditions is highly desirable.

**The post holder will**:

- Take a proactive lead role in the development and expansion of the IAPT Step 3 service in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and Team Manager, including supporting the management team with service promotion and achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
- Hold a post graduate IAPT qualification in Cognitive behaviour Therapy (CBT), maintain BABCP Accreditation and have completed an IAPT Supervisors course.
- Have substantial experience of working as high intensity CBT therapists in a Talking Therapy service, managing complex client presentations and providing formal clinical supervision to Talking Therapy qualified staff and trainees.
- Provide high quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to adults presenting with moderate to severe mental health problems, including those with a degree of complexity in accordance with NICE guidelines. Work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various settings.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
