Our work environment is in a countryside location in modern converted farm buildings with access to walk on the farm and in the summer to visit the polo grounds located near the offices.

*CFO with operational responsibilities
- Manage the overall financial risks of the company. Oversee the preparation and compilation of financial reports, manage the company’s finances effectively and watch over acquisitions and mergers. Oversees the day-to-day business operations and administrative functions of the company. Work closely with the CEO to create plans and opportunities that benefit the company and help develop a culture that aligns with the company’s mission and vision.
- Lead, motivate and oversee the team involved in accounts, administration, IT, purchasing and shipping
- Track cash flow and analyse the company’s financial weaknesses and strength, whilst proposing corrective actions
- Track project delivery, measure performance and recommend improvement strategies
- Report performance of the business to the CEO, management and other stakeholders
- Assist the executive team to: o identify and set both strategic and short-term performance and growth goals o create an enabling work environment and positive company culture
- Assist in the processes of financial prediction and preparation of budgets
- Prepare of financial reports
- Carryout Company Secretarial duties
- Support the CEO with legal and commercial agreements
- Be familiar with managerial activities relating to hiring, HR, employee training and discipline policy
- Review present business processes and procedures, create, implement, assess and improve as required
- Maintain and enforce company policies
- Establish and maintain good relationships with investors bankers and professionals
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, partners and clients *Skills and qualifications
- * ACA or ACCA qualified
- Excellent financial planning and forecasting skills
- Strong leadership skills and organisational skills
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to strategise and devise solutions
- Proficiency in various computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess good data analysis skills
- In-depth understanding of relevant tax regulations - VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D tax credit etc
- Knowledge and experience of Intellectual Property desirable
- Proven experience in a senior management role
- In-depth knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including experience of strategic planning, audit, IT, human resources and marketing
- Ability to manage budgets and business operations
- Experience in raising capital for business
- Honesty and integrity *Experience requirements
- Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience in a senior financial management position, preferably in a commercial company, and have experience in diverse aspects of their company’s operations. It would be desirable for the applicant to have a science degree.

**Salary**: £75,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
