An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the Transformation Team, as the Deputy Head of Transformation. The post holder will have personal responsibility for leading their own set of large-scale programmes/projects across ESNEFT and with our alliance partners; as set out in the transformation agenda and will formally deputise for the Head of Transformation as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic team to deliver improvement and change within the largest acute NHS organisation within the Midlands and East region.

The role be predominantly Colchester based, but work covers both Colchester and Ipswich acute sites and our community sites.
- To personally lead large scale, complex transformation programmes and projects across ESNEFT.
- To develop a broad range of long term strategic plans (3 to 5 years) and processes; pulling together complex projects that impact across the whole Trust and the wider local health system and likely to require evaluation and adjustment in order to be responsive to Trust need.
- Support the annual business planning process; ensuring the transformation business plan supports divisional business plans, links to ESNEFT and ICS strategies and national requirements.
- Deputise for the Head of Transformation as required; including presenting and representing on Time Matters Board
- Line Management responsibilities for transformation team members as per team organisation structure and agreed with Head of Transformation.
- Required to regularly use own judgement in analysing compliance with targets or attainment of standards, taking action when standards have not been reached.
- Frequently required to work to changing agendas, unpredictable and conflicting demands and tight deadlines, requiring excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- To chair working groups / steering groups of senior clinicians and managers to progress the transformation agenda; regularly facilitating meetings to examine issues and co-produce approaches and direction, by analysing and presenting complex, multi-faceted and often conflicting information to explore more than one solution to reach a resolution.

Key responsibilities
