Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner, Chairman and CEO, Julia Hands MBE. Whilst each hotel is individual, every property fulfils the company values of family, individuality, community and care, ensuring a hand picked experience for every guest and employee.

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Creative Designer to join our expanding marketing team. A new opportunity has arisen to join our expanding marketing team at Hand Picked Hotels to support with the ongoing development of the brand.

This role will be based from our office in Sevenoaks and will also require travel across all our hotels as required.

**About the Role**:

- The role of Creative Lead Designer will involve overseeing all design work to produce a cohesive brand look and well executed branded marketing assets that will increase the public’s awareness of and consideration for, Hand Picked Hotels.
- Proactively amend materials deemed not appropriate for our luxury positioning and create systems to ensure all produced materials are in line with our brand guidelines.
- Create and be responsible for a first class, content portal that is easily accessible, which contains up-to-date assets that can be used to represent the brand across all touchpoints for physical and digital signage for print.
- Be able to lead excellent delivery of design (internal and external) and print, driving up our design standards, increasing innovation, keeping down costs and our carbon footprint, and reducing our over-reliance on print, all while producing engaging and motivating communications in line with Hand Picked Hotels brand standards.
- Also having a good eye for interior design, be able to recommend simple ways of elevating the Hand Picked Hotel product (hotel rooms, lounges, dining rooms, spas), without the need for significant Capex investment.

**About you**:

- To be considered for this role is essential you are able to use (at advanced level) Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere and used to designing for digital, rather than physical platforms, first.
- Experience having worked with and designed for brands in the luxury space, hospitality experience is essential to be considered for this role
- Be fully proficient with PowerPoint and other presentation packages (egg. Keynote, Google slides, Prezi) and video creation and editing software (eg. In Video, Adobe Premiere, Apple iMovie, YouTube Studio etc.).
- It is vital you are a multi-tasker with the ability to stay organised and focused when presented with multiple projects.
- Can demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation and with a keen focus on details.
- Must be able to prioritise projects and meet deadlines and be confident at presenting and influencing to senior stakeholders and director level.
- Able to participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and other communications required for this position.
- Most tasks performed by this role are conducted independently and with mínimal direct supervision.
- Ability to drive and have own transport is desirable.
