Group Manager in Cambridge, CB2 - Term Time Only

Aspens Services is an established and successful school contract caterer, providing meals to children in schools up and down the country. We currently have an opportunity for a Group Manager to join our team in ** to oversee and manage effectively, all aspects of the delivery and services provided to the client. You will also be supporting the Company’s strategic vision of profitable, sustainable growth.

Monday to Friday
40 Hours per week
40 Weeks per year
£35,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all services detailed within the contract are adhered to, delivered and where possible enhanced to meet and exceed the clients, customers, and company expectations.
Ensure costs are controlled but that they do not affect the service quality and delivery
Food is of the highest standard and in line with the current high street trends
Manage and support the development, progress, and performance of all line reporting managers
To support the business through the completion of projects as required.
To manage and assist in the mobilisation of new business.
To assist in and deliver sales and retention presentations in part or in full
Compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards

**Requirements**:
Proven operational experience of managing large teams in multi-site operations including HR & performance management.
You will need to be an exceptional people manager with excellent communication skills.
Sound financial acumen with experience of budget compilation and presentation.
In depth knowledge of food trends and service standards.
A keen eye for detail over all aspects of the role.
Highly motivated with proven ability to succeed.

Aspens Services Ltd are an independent school contract catering company who are regularly on the lookout for Catering Managers, Chef Managers and Chefs.
