**Job Description**:
AECOM is seeking an **IT Projects & Programs Coordinator** to support IT initiatives and project work. This is a remote/virtual position.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with Service Delivery team to support project management processes and various aspects of project execution
- Manage smaller engagements:

- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes from conception to delivery
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Develop initial timeline and modify as engagement progresses
- Track and follow-up on defined activities and escalate as needed
- Communicate weekly with key stakeholders through standardized status reports
- Perform other project support tasks, as needed, such as:

- Contribute to identifying deliverables, assumptions, and risks to support project success
- Prepare Project Acceptance Reports, send to client
- Ensures all project documentation is collected and stored in appropriate repositories
- Validate project deliverables are being updated as needed
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Assist with time tracking, reconciliation and invoicing of services delivered
- Shadow Service Delivery team on larger engagements to increase project management skills and learn tools and techniques
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers

**Support Activities**
- Gather feedback from customers through communications, lessons learned documentation and online surveys, consolidate results for Service Delivery scorecard
- Assist in development of weekly Service Delivery reporting providing visibility into current projects and services status
- Verify completion, correctness, and availability of documentation for project
- Help with assuring timeliness of data for time tracking and utilization numbers
- Track metrics, activities on projects, and project team metrics

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant IT project experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
- Proven work experience as an IT Project Coordinator or similar role
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills
- High level of organization with ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment
- Expert level proficiency with desktop tools Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
- Occasional travel may be required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior engagement or support of project management experience is a strong plus
