Job description:
**Job Purpose**

The Junior Privacy Analyst supports the International SOS TRICARE and Government Services privacy program(s), which include the daily operation, development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures, policies, compliance, and investigation. This functionalso monitors programs and tracks incidents and breaches while ensuring the company and division policy aligns with US federal state laws, General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Corporate Policy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports implementation, maintenance, and adherence to the organization's privacy program
- Collaboration with legal counsel and management
- Performs initial and periodic information privacy risk assessments
- Conducts related ongoing compliance monitoring activities in coordination with the Government Services Contracts and Compliance and Program Quality (operational assessment) functions.
- Supports the development of corporate privacy policies and procedures for the handling of protected health information.
- Evaluates and suggests improvement processes for investigating, documenting, and reporting unauthorized access or disclosure of personal information.
- Supports the development, implementation, and updates to data related privacy policies, standards and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable data protection laws
- Establishes and administers a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and taking action on all complaints and grievances concerning the organization’s privacy policies
- Manages the process of recording, tracking, conducting investigations, drafting recommendations and resolutions and closing out of any identified and / or potential privacy breaches for TRICARE.
- Develops and provides periodic privacy program reports
- Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to foster information privacy awareness within the organization and related activities

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
- Professional working experience in Privacy; Experience in the healthcare sector would be a benefit
- Privacy Certification(s) like IAAP-CIPM/CIPT/CIPE or equivalent would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated professional SME privacy expertise applied in programs, training and tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethical behaviour, with the ability to remain impartial and report all non-compliance.
- Ability to advise on risk-based decisions involving regulatory, reputational and financial risk and to act with a high degree of integrity and with autonomy
- Must possess excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills to enable sound, timely decisions.
- Ability to gather investigative materials and information to organize, analyze, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations for the resolution of privacy breaches and related issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office projects, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and SharePoint. Technical proficiency is a must for success in this role.
