**People Business Partner - The role**:
A true HR generalist, this newly created role will provide guidance and support on aspects of the employee life cycle, from the point of induction, retention, performance management, employee relations, development and career planning, talent management and succession planning, engagement and wellbeing.

**As our People Business Partner you will be responsible for**:

- Partner with operational management to create and drive people plans for each of the service areas.
- Advise and support managers on the handling of Employee Relation cases.
- Support managers in area of responsibility to maintain a positive working environment through communication and engagement.
- Ensure People Policies and practices are aligned to our employer brand and comply with relevant legislation, advising managers on all aspects of employment law.
- Support with the creation and delivery of the employee health and wellbeing strategy.
- Support with driving the performance and talent agenda, ensuring effective people management processes and succession planning are in place across the areas of responsibility.
- Identify and recommend development opportunities for individuals and teams.
- Support with the creation and delivery of reward and recognition initiatives.
- Assist with the review, development and implementation of HR processes and systems to continually improve people service delivery; streamlining processes and reducing administrative tasks where possible, but not removing the human touch and necessary personal interaction.
- Create operational workforce plans, working with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure roles are filled.
- Drive organisational development, re
- design, change & engagement in your areas, including project management & employee communications.
- Partner with leaders and supervisors to upskill and develop our leadership capability and skills needed for our future success.
- Support with the delivery of our ED&I strategy, seeking opportunities for improvement and development.
- Obtain and analyse people metrics.
- Champion our values and culture, being a role model for these and supporting the continual embedding of them in everything we do.
- Act as a Line Manager and Mentor to a HR Administrator
- Work with the Director of People to ensure the organisational People Plan is on track

**In order to be successful, it would be great if you have**:

- Previous experience working within a HR function in an advisor or manager role looking for a new exciting challenge to progress your career, in a supportive and developing people team.
- A CIPD qualification or working towards.
- A full current driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: Up to £27,200.00 per year
