Operations Administrator - Maternity Cover
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join the Merkur team as an Operations Administrator. Within this position, you will provide administrative support for the Directors, Office Manager, Operations Department and others in the senior management team in relation to the following key areas.
To be successful within this role, you will need an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, superior communication skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
As well as this, the role will also include minute taking, covering the reception desk when necessary and requires you to keep the utmost confidentiality as you will be dealing with highly sensitive data.
**Day to day duties will include**:
- Devising/maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
- Maintaining diaries and organising appointments.
- Organising and attend meetings, ensuring the Operation Directors is well prepared.
- Arranging travel and accommodation.
- Provide general assistance for Operational meetings, note taking, producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
- Supporting with events and conferences.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Collating and filing expenses.
- Adhoc tasks requested by Office Manager
**What you will need**:
- 3+ Years experience within an administration/secretarial role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with minute taking.
- An excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
- Superior organisation and communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Full capability to communicate effectively across all levels of management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
