Your main role will be to complete installations, fibre repairs and surveys on both our own network and also on the BTOR network. You will be working alongside the Service delivery teams to install our state-of-the-art fibre broadband service at an Excellent level as per Zzoomm requirements.

You will already have an in-depth knowledge of either Installations or fibre network. You will also be able to audit the work quality completed by the installation teams and know the working practices of the service delivery teams, showing a high level of adherence to field standard guides and Zzoomm Operating Practice and standards.

You have a keen eye for detail and will be able to find solutions to most challenges you come across in the field, utilising your previous experience and the advanced tools at your disposal.

You will directly report to the Regional Field Service Manager.

**A day in the life of**
- You will attend installations (residential & enterprise) to install our FTTH broadband, Wi-Fi systems and switches to customers as required.
- Attend service visits where a customer or business has lost or is experiencing problems with their service.
- Diagnose and trace faults in the network from the customers properties back to our state-of-the-art Active Cabinets.
- Work closely with the engineering team on remedial work within the fibre network.
- Help train and coach the Service Delivery teams on best practices and HSEQ compliance.
- Work as part of a team utilising a wide variety of tools to complete your work to a high standard, documenting the work you have completed.

**What we need you to have.**
- You have experience in the telecoms industry either in networks or installations.
- You will have your relevant accreditations and tickets allowing you to complete work both on the PIA network and on customers private property.
- A good understanding of the industry standards and knowledge of HSEQ practices.
- Experience in splicing and fibre infrastructure or in home systems Wi-Fi, installation and fault finding.
