We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to play a key part in supporting both the business as usual and strategic people initiatives that underpin our aim to ensure skilled people managers deliver a great employee experience.

The role will support across a range of HR processes such as employee relations, change, performance, and talent. Reporting to the CHRO, the HR Advisor will take a proactive approach to ensure matters are progressed in a timely manner, organising, communicating and ultimately helping our managers to support their people.

**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a positive work culture and maintain legal compliance
- Gather metrics from HRIS, ATS, HR Ops to produce reports and dashboards for Heads of HR, senior managers and SLT members, giving insights based on data to drive value
- Monitor approvals in our HRIS (HiBob) to ensure key deadlines are met (e.g. payroll cutoffs)
- Conduct exit survey and interviews of all leavers and provide regular insights to the team
- Support managers in developing their talent packs including succession plans, development plans and identifying training needs
- Identify potential risks and liabilities related to employee relations matters and work proactively to mitigate them
- Assist across a range of employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances
- Work with managers to design, implement, monitor and where necessary, escalate performance improvement plans (PIP’s)
- Organise employee relations cases and change projects, drafting correspondence and organising evidence and consultation documents
- Supporting on project activity as appropriate (e.g. onboarding, alignment of people policies, employee surveys, D&I etc..)
- Assist in organisational changes, redundancy processes, change and implementation planning.
- Awareness of risks and legal limitations in HR processes, able to advise and support managers
- Coach/support junior people managers on how to drive the effectiveness and the performance of their people
- Role modelling positive ways of working and contributing to the development and evolution of the People Plan
- Support our Learning and Development team to deliver training programs and workshops for managers and employees on topics related to conflict resolution, communication skills, and employee relations best practices
- Build and maintain a library of templates and materials to support HR and change processes

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**

Key experience required in this position:

- Human resources experience, with a focus on supporting employee relations processes.
- Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment.
- An understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices in the UK
- An understanding of international HR practices is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts.
- A positive, collaborative and customer focused attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Understanding of key HR metrics, ability to produce reports (HRIS, Excel)
- Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS),
- Ability to work methodically through work as well as show initiative
