Early Years Practitioner

Wallingford

£13.65 - £15.00 / h

**Duties**:

- Provide high-quality care and support to children in the nursery setting
- Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for children’s learning and development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and toileting
- Collaborate with a team of nursery staff to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues

**Requirements**:

- Early Years Level 2, Level 3 or above qualification
- Proven experience working as a Nursery Practitioner, demonstrating a deep understanding of childcare best practices
- Excellent knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different nursery settings
- Valid First Aid certification (desirable)

We will work around your availability regarding shifts and hours. Standard shifts for these clients typically begin between 8:00-9:00 am and end between 5:00-6:00 pm
