They provide a wide range of clinical services, specialist services (including cardiac, cancer, musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation) medical education, training, and research.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Act as first point of contact for patients, clinicians, and visitors to the department - dealing with all face-to-face contacts in an efficient, polite, and courteous manner and responding to all telephone enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Deal with patient enquiries in an empathetic and confidential manner, signposting people appropriately and always maintaining a high standard of customer care.
- Ensure that patient information and demographic details are recorded accurately onto the Trust Electronic Patient Record (EPR) whilst adhering to the Trust policy on data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Ensure that patients are checked in and out of clinics accurately and in a timely manner across both sites, Churchill and John Radcliffe Hospitals.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- NHS experience
- Previous admin/ reception experience
- NHS System Knowledge
