We now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated **HR Apprentice** to join the team in Leeds, to assist in the smooth running of the HR department by providing administrative support, managing employee queries, and maintaining accurate records and databases.
**The position**:
- Permanent, full-time
- 40 hours per week
- To undertake the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship (with CIPD Level 3) at Leeds City College

**Main duties**:
- Assist with the screening and vetting of all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations;
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees for the Events division;
- Processing of reference requests and other pre-employment due diligence;
- Support the HR team in the administration of the company’s audit processes;
- Supporting the HR team in the organising and administration of annual appraisal and probation reviews;
- Ensure that all employee information and documents stored electronically or in paper format are transferred to the HR software system;
- Organise and collating materials for recruitment events, and attending events when required to do so;
- Administration of all computer and paper-based filing systems;
- General administration for the department, including filing, processing telephone queries, scanning and photocopying.
- Possess grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
- Possess excellent office or administration experience
- Be driven and willing to learn
- Possess customer service skills
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong organisational abilities
- Have strong computer literacy skills
- Be professional, reliable, punctual, and flexible
