Join us an Early Careers Assistant on our two-year HR apprenticeship programme, where you will get to kick start your career within HR, supporting the Early Careers strategy at AG and complete a Level HR Support CIPD apprenticeship. This role is in our Early Careers team which is spread across our London, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh offices and supports the recruitment and development of Trainees, Graduates (Business Services) and Apprentices (legal and non-legal).

**Job Description**:
As an Early Careers Assistant, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of our Apprenticeships and (Business Services) Graduate programmes across our UK offices, from recruitment through to development.

We are looking for someone who has a keen passion and interest in supporting people through our Early Careers programmes, and wants to build a career within Early Careers / HR.

For the role of Early Careers Assistant Apprentice, we will reward you with a starting salary of £18,500 a year, with the potential for salary increments in your second year and fund for you to complete the Level 3 HR Support CIPD apprenticeship with BPP.

Reporting into the Early Careers Manager, this role would assist in all aspects of coordination and administration activity for the end-to-end hiring process and development of current and future Graduates and Apprentices.

Job duties

Support the administration of Business Graduate and Apprentice recruitment activities, ensuring an efficient and effective service to all involved in the hiring process.
Acting as the first point of contact for Apprentice and Graduate queries from future joiners.
Management of the Early Careers inbox and responding to queries.
Schedule and assist with recruitment events.
Assist with producing offer letters and contracts for new joiners.
Assist with onboarding of new apprentices and graduates including supporting the induction process.
Process and monitor invoice payments.
Help drive process improvement.
Support the team during ad-hoc and annual projects.
Support to develop key partnerships with schools and colleges, and universities and external companies to ensure we promote our programmes to a wide pool of talent and recruit a fully inclusive early careers pipeline.
Work with our internal teams to promote our brand through a range of channels.
Responsible for co-coordinating our involvement and brand presentation at careers and campus events.
Qualifications Required
5 GCSEs at grades 4 or above (including English and Maths)
3 A-levels at grades C or above.
Skills Required
Good communication and general interpersonal skills.
Proficient with using IT equipment and Microsoft programmes.
