The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the General Manager of the warehouse in respect of goods being sent from and delivered to Solotech Park Royal as well as providing logistic support to the Installations team. The role will provide invaluable support to ensure that the operation delivers exceptional service to its customers, ensuring output meets the requirements of the business. The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment. In addition, the role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training / support will be given

**Your day will look like this**:
**Sales & Installations - Goods In/out**
- Check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages, booking in on relevant systems against relevant purchase orders
- Ensuring goods reach the appropriate department / individual
- Manage the packaging and documentation of all goods out (UK & Worldwide) ensuring security, quality and adherence to timelines.
- Ensure any shipping anomalies are reported to management immediately.
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
- Maintain warehouse, yard and department tidiness
- Liaise with other Solotech’s warehouses/goods in on receiving stock and movement between sites.
- Work with project managers across all departments to manage stock control, movements and logistics for the wider warehouse team.
- Checking in new and replacement stock for the LP department and providing support for booking couriers and transport when needed’

**Sales Preparation**
- Supporting the diagnosis of systems and equipment, following implemented procedures in order to provide after sales-support.
- Assisting with the preparation of all ex-hire and new Sales equipment. Including identifying testing and preparing used equipment.
- Maintain proper stock controls and the efficient management of Sales Stores.

**Installation Preparation**
- Collation of Installations sales stock according to equipment schedules and generation of delivery documentation
- Assembly of Installation cable requirements according to project cable schedule.
- Assembly of installation kit of parts: cable management, fixings, tools etc. under the direction of the project manager
- Ensure stock is stored appropriately and stock area is kept in order. Monitoring of stock levels and informing management if they fall below operational levels. Perform regular stock checks to ensure system is accurate.
- Monitoring plant movements ensuring all installation tools and equipment are returned to base - informing the Project Manager of any loss.

**Customer and Relationship Management**
- Adhere to Solotech’s service standards.
- Handle all communication in accordance with Solotech’s core standards of behavior.
- Liaise with 3rd Parties to provide support or handle queries

**Financial Management**
- Monitor performance of carriers & keep abreast of market change / developments to ensure best carrier deals are secured.
- Identify ways to improve cost effectiveness and where appropriate, generate income.

**Your profile**:

- Right to work and remain in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence (some driving may be required for delivery of sales, exhibitions etc.)
- Good administration skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Experience of working within a similar role or within a warehouse would be advantageous
- Forklift license would be advantageous, although training can be given.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly
- Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to use a database software, knowledge of Macs
- Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure - the role is pivotal to the smooth running of the office and dealing with customers.
