**Aftersales Advisor Needed for Carlisle Dealership**
- Basic Salary up to £25,000 depending on experience
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-17:30 and 1 in 2 Saturday Mornings

Our client is looking for an aftersales advisor to support its team in Carlisle.

Are you a service advisor, parts advisor, warranty advisor, or other motor trade professional with the necessary experience to make a success of this role?

**What is Expected of the Aftersales Advisor**:

- You will need to be a confident relationship builder.
- Be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first class service.
- Work towards achieving company objectives and targets.
- You will greet customers into the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work.
- You will have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed.

**You will also be looking after parts and warranty, where duties will include**:

- Receiving all parts orders, accurately identify requirements and ensure that they are accurately and promptly picked and dispatched.
- Accurately identifying and processing customer parts requirements; whilst maintaining a courteous and professional approach in a busy parts environment.
- Being sales-orientated and target-driven to ensure successful parts growth.
- To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
- Preparing all warranty claims for submission to manufacturers for payment.
- Checking and clearing weekly statements and querying any overdue claims not paid or any discrepancies in payments.
- Ensuring all documentation falls in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
- Preparing invoices and warranty claims accurately in accordance with manufacturers' and departmental standards with regard to claim deals and administration of open time, clockings and job card write-ups.
- Ensuring repair order documentation is fully and correctly completed.
- Ensuring all policy claims are quickly dealt with and the customer reimbursements are correct.
- Maintaining high standards of control over displaced material returned to manufacturers.
- Accurately reconciling warranty credits and correctly administering discrepancies.
- Assisting with general office administration duties.
