**BASIC SALARY**: £42,000 - £52,000

**BENEFITS**:

- Uncapped Commission circa £12,500 Year 1, £25,000 Year 2
- Potential additional £2,500 bonus per annum

**LOCATION**: South East

**COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: Watford, Croydon, Dartford, Romford, Epsom, Guildford,Reading, Maidenhead, Enfield

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Field Sales Engineer : Analytical Equipment - Test & Measurement Products

You will be adept at both sales and account management and be looking for a role where you will have freedom and flexibility which will naturally come with accountability.

In addition to this you will also have:

- Some experience of selling chemical consumables or equipment to laboratories or scientific settings would be ideal
- The desire to manage your own diary and territory across the South East of England
- Experience of selling any analytical equipment into the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Petrochemical, Cosmetics and Academia markets would be desirable
- Ideally a degree or equivalent education or experience in Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Field Sales Engineer : Analytical Equipment - Test & Measurement Products

Managing across all our markets; you will be supported / mentored by and report directly to, our UK sales manager. This is a technical business development role and comes with a high level of autonomy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- _Developing New Accounts_ - 60% of your time. Establishing relationships, understanding technical requirements, and generating sales, through specification, based on your knowledge and expertise
- _Account Management_ - 40% of your time. Once established you will assume the management of some well-established accounts with an average order value of £15,000 - £20,000
