Group Purchase Ledger Administrator Knaresborough / Hybrid ARDQD846993
**Purpose of the Role**
This exciting hands on opportunity has arisen to join our Accounts Payable team in Knaresborough to process purchase ledger invoices across various companies within the group, ensuring that the accounting system is correctly updated and all ledger accounts maintained. You will also ensure payments made through e-banking are done in a timely basis through the relevant platform.
**What you will do**
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:
- Invoices correctly approved in accordance with the delegated authority
- Invoices allocated to correct ledger account
- Payments processed in accordance with schedule
- Ledgers maintained

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Key competencies:
- Must have previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Experience of banking processes including banking platforms
- Good verbal and written communication
- Team player with flexible attitude
- Aptitude to focus on current process and suggest efficiencies
Desirable competencies:
- Experience of Purchase Order systems and processing
- Use of Dynamics 365
Technical Knowledge & Understanding:
- Online banking platforms and EFT experience
- Computer literate
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
