To support our continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled External Quality Assurance (EQA) Team Leader to join our team and provide effective leadership to our EQA Officers.

As the EQA Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the EQA process and optimising team performance. Working closely with our EQA Officers and EQA Manager, you will be responsible for driving Officer performance, overseeing quality checks, coordinating EQA visits, and ensuring the smooth execution of processes in alignment with our internal Knowledge Information Tool (KIT) and set targets. Your role will focus on providing the best possible support to our Officers, enabling them to assure and support our Recognised Centres in line with our EQA Strategy.

Essential qualifications and experience include experience in assessing and Internal/External Quality Assurance, as you will work with our team to ensure robust quality assurance processes both within TQUK and our Recognised Centres.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct visits with our Recognised Centres to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and provide valuable feedback.
- Drive officer performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet and exceed established targets and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of EQA Officers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to enhance their capabilities.
- Monitor and feedback, and where necessary take action, to ensure that EQA Officer standards meet the requirements of TQUK.
- Put in place training and support for EQAs Officers where required.
- Effectively distribute tasks among the EQA Officers based on their skills and expertise, optimising team efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of EQA Officers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to enhance their capabilities.
- Provide regular updates on team performance against set targets throughout the day, allowing for prompt intervention.
- Collaborate with the EQA team and across the business in driving process changes, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency in the overall EQA operations.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Maintain excellent working knowledge of TQUK products, internal and external processes, and regulatory obligations.
- Efficient and effective data and file management; inputting, filing, monitoring of data.
- Assist the Management Team with development or improvement of systems to manage External Quality Assurance activities.
- Promote understanding of the Internal Quality Assurance and External Quality Assurance processes internally at Training Qualifications UK.
- Support other members of the Quality team, when required.

**Key Requirements**
- English and Maths at a minimum of Level 2.
- Excellent level of computer literacy in Microsoft programmes.
