We are a small family-owned business located in K3 Business Park on Clough Road and are passionate about providing our clients with the most professional and friendly service possible. The Directors, Sam and Emilie, are hands-on within the business and are often in the office with the rest of the team. We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, has the same passion about customer service as we do and has the ability to answer and deal with customer queries and take messages efficiently and at a steady pace.

You will be part of a small and friendly office-based team and will be acting as a receptionist for multiple businesses by answering and handling incoming calls and carrying out administrative tasks relating to them i.e taking messages, booking appointments, and answering basic FAQ’s. You will also be required to use our call answering software, along with other booking and CRM systems on which full training will be provided.

Prior to your undertaking the role you will be provided full training on how to answer and deal with calls and the systems we use. Training will be undertaken during your first 1-2 months in stages, to not be overwhelming. A member of management will be around in the office during this time. Ongoing training is also provided.

This is a permanent role working 25.5 hours per week. Normal working hours, after full training is provided will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10am-4pm and Thursday 9am-5pm with every other Thursday 11:30am-8pm. You will also be required to cover another member of staffs annual leave approximately 3/4 times a year on the following days; Saturday 9am-6:30pm and weekdays 11:30am-8pm. You will be given the choice of working the Saturday as either part of your normal working hours or as overtime. This responsibility will be shared with another member of staff.

Salary will start at £10.55 rising to £11.05 after 6 months.

The safety of our staff is paramount. The Business Park is covered by a CCTV system which is monitored by an external security company. The building is secure, and the car park is lit with security lighting. The car park is free to use for employees with sufficient spaces for all staff and visitors.

There are a variety of amenities nearby, e.g. Greggs, Costa, independent cafes, gyms and a nursery.
