We are now looking for a Junior Product Developer who is highly ambitious and eager to join us on our exciting journey to put education, social awareness and environmental impact at the heart of all our decisions.

Managing our product lifecycle from conception to discontinuation you will be responsible for all aspects of our products under the guidance of our Head of Product Development. Working within an agile framework, you will help to manage the product development process which includes market/trend research, range building, managing the APR and PRJ process whilst providing ongoing communication with suppliers and the wider team alike.

Core responsibilities will include:

- Active management of the product lifecycle and controlling SKU count
- Preparation of market, product and packaging briefs, with ability to manage the product development and launch process
- Maintaining contact and request costs and samples from our suppliers
- Working with supply chain team on new product introductions, product changes and deletions
- Managing the APR and PRJ process for Helix new products after challenging likely volumes and SP’s and margins
- Liaising with Maped management on new product ideas within the ‘Radar of innovation’ and ad hoc product/market surveys
- QC of new or amended product before they enter / leave our warehouse

We would love it if you:

- Are passionate about product development, with a collaborative mindset
- Are already a Product Owner/Developer or commercially savvy Business Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Have experience of undertaking market research to better guide the business on market and product direction
- Have an ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels both within the business and with clients
- Are methodical in your approach to planning and execution, with a fine eye for detail

**Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.15pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.15pm**

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
