**Here's what you'll be doing**

**Salary for this role is £35,505 to £47,699**

**The role is office based at our Kingswinford site - DY6 8BN**

We’re on the lookout for a Training Author to join our Net Zero Academy of Excellence. This is a brand-new role and you will be responsible for the delivery of our Smart Field Connections training material and programmes.

As part of E. ON UK’s Solution strategy, there is a current and futureproofing requirement to ensure our operational areas are set up for success, continue to lead the energy transition and diversify our skills and capabilities to all available low carbon solutions

As a Training Author you will help create new and evolve existing training material. Digitalising the way our training content is delivered and making sure that the material is suitable and tailored to the modern leaner, whilst maintaining inclusion for all neuro-diverse conditions.

**Other responsibilities include**
- Understanding and maximising opportunities for The Net Zero Academy, whilst being mindful of market changes. Managing the changes and ensuring that we deliver them successfully, taking into account the impact that they may have on people, process and systems
- Implementing suitable rigour and version controls to ensure material is kept up to date with market and regulatory forces
- Produce future content upon instruction provided by various business owners and stakeholders
- Work to ensure our Smart Field Connections departments requirements are consistently tailored and maintain training material which is suitable for all learning styles and conditions

**What we need from you**
- Experience in managing strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in business development and value creation
- Experience in project management and the ability to deliver to timescales
- Strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to leverage a strong network
- Able to make solid and credible business decisions
- Understanding of computer science, related tools and techniques to ensure a fully digitalised platform is produced and maintained.
- Familiar with AI software, products, and processes
- Creativity, solving complex cross functional business problems.
- Knowledge and understanding of the metering industry.
- Able to plan and organise activities effectively.
- A track record of delivering achievements while working cross functionally.
- Ability to analyse information and make recommendations based on both customer and commercial implications.
- Strong IT literacy skills.
- Full driving licence.
